Infants classroom (Ages 6 weeks to 15 months)

  • Each child is provided his/her own crib and cubby.
  • Teachers sing songs and read stories to encourage language acquisition, and they pass balls and play games to develop motor skills.
  • We promote early stage sensory development in class by daily interaction and work with toes and fingers.
  • Teachers spend quality time cuddling and talking to babies to instill trust and to provide a healthy learning environment.
  • Teachers keep individual schedules for each baby so that their diaper changes, feedings, and nap times are personalized for the infant’s needs.
  • American Sign Language is introduced in the Infant and Toddler rooms. Infants learn to express their thoughts and needs without regard to their language ability.
  • Infants love to move and explore and we appreciate this curiosity. We give each child the opportunity to spend time in all areas of our Infant Room.
  • Our low teacher to infant ratio allows teachers to spend more time caring for your child.
  • Regular communication between teachers and parents to keep you informed about your child’s day.
